About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Housing Support Specialist to join our team at Methodist Homes. In this role, you will provide a tailored, resident-focused housing management service for different tenures within a designated housing scheme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide value-added customer service in accordance with Methodist Homes' policies and procedures in the areas of allocations, housing management, and finance.
  • Manage financial plans and budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and maintenance checks to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of community-focused initiatives to enhance resident well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports to inform decision-making and service improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a housing-related field, with a strong understanding of housing management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products and ability to use computer software to manage records and reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
