Job Title: Domestic Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant at Blackwood Homes and Care. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the cook with meal preparation and serving
  • Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment, utensils, and crockery
  • Ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Manage supplies for breakfast and overnight meals
  • Work collaboratively with the cook and other team members to achieve a smooth and efficient service

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role, such as a local authority hygiene/cleaning certificate
  • Experience of domestic duties and a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing situations
  • A positive and flexible approach to meet the needs of our residents
