We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Bothwell Castle Care Home. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Care Planning: Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Clinical Excellence: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care, including observations, medications, and health status.
- Leadership: Lead by example, guiding and supporting your care team to deliver exceptional care and promote a positive work environment.
- Communication: Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, ensuring clear and respectful communication at all times.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a vigilant focus on resident safety and well-being, identifying and mitigating potential risks and hazards.
- Medication Management: Safely administer medications, adhering to MAR sheets and protocols, and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Resident Engagement: Encourage social interaction and participation in activities, promoting a sense of community and belonging among residents.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, sharing best practices and contributing to the development of our care home.
We are looking for a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional care and a commitment to improving the lives of our residents. You will have a natural ability to connect with people, bringing warmth, understanding, and a calm, patient demeanor to every interaction.
You will be a strong communicator, able to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to achieve outstanding care outcomes. Your ability to lead and motivate your care team will be essential in promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
