Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant at Blackwood Homes and Care. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the cook with meal preparation and serving
- Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment, utensils, and crockery
- Ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen, storerooms, and dining areas
- Manage supplies for breakfast and overnight meals
- Work collaboratively with the care team to meet the needs of our residents
Requirements:
- Relevant experience to certificate standard (e.g. local authority hygiene/cleaning certificate)
- Experience of domestic duties
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Open and flexible approach to meet the needs of our residents
