Job Summary
Mearns View Care Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility
- Support residents with their medication, including administration and recording
- Engage with residents in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care
Requirements
- SVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent qualification
- Experience working in a care setting, preferably in a luxury care home
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including day and night shifts
- Passion for delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on residents' lives
