Position: Regulatory Compliance Lead
Location: Reading
Compensation: Up to £42,500 plus performance bonus
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5:30 PM
About the Position
We are in search of a motivated and seasoned individual to join our expanding team as a Regulatory Compliance Lead. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to excellence, demonstrate passion and energy, and take ownership of their responsibilities while exercising sound judgment. This role requires collaboration with team members and a flexible approach to challenges. This is a remarkable opportunity for those looking to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and uphold thorough compliance policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to stakeholder requirements.
- Oversee health and safety regulations, establishing relevant policies for the organization.
- Guarantee compliance with gas safety standards, maintain accurate records, and conduct routine inspections of gas systems.
- Manage compliance for block management, ensuring alignment with legal obligations and best practices.
- Supervise Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and prompt implementation of necessary enhancements.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance issues, promoting a culture of adherence.
- Investigate and address compliance breaches, implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Stay informed on changes in real estate legislation and regulations, updating practices to ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure properties meet established quality and safety benchmarks.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and external regulatory entities as required.
- Offer proactive advice and review to the organization, ensuring effective risk management.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry developments, technologies, and best practices to enhance compliance functions.
