Portfolio Oversight and Management Support Specialist

Job Summary:
Barings' Global Public Delivery team is seeking a motivated individual to support the operational oversight of all public accounts managed by Barings (~$406bn* in AUM). The successful candidate will join our innovative team of financial professionals and contribute to the success of our clients.
- Portfolio Oversight and Fund Accounting:
Support the Global High Yield team in meeting their main responsibilities, including: - Assisting with daily oversight, ensuring timely NAVs, coordinating internal resources, and reconciling external third-party information.
- Providing general support to traders and portfolio managers, cash management oversight, and operational issue resolution.
- Maintaining awareness of client mandates, portfolio governing documents, and regulatory restrictions.
- Collaborating with Product Structuring, Investment, and Legal teams on fund queries, budgeting, and expense monitoring.
- Developing and implementing standard Barings global operating processes and procedures across the firm.
Requirements:
- Graduate in economics, finance, or mathematics or equivalent.
- Clear communication skills, both verbally and written, for internal and external clients.
- Numerate with high attention to detail, accounting experience, and advanced Excel skills.
