About the Role

The Associate Director of Governance, Reporting and Portfolio Oversight will play a critical role in overseeing the Directorate's governance and reporting commitments, ensuring the highest standards of accountability and transparency.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week) with an indefinite contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of IES governance, including the Partnerships Committee and Partnerships Advisory Group.

The role involves monitoring and providing oversight of the IES portfolio to support the directorate in monitoring and reporting on key programmes, projects, relationships, and their associated risks, milestones, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the governance and reporting commitments of the Directorate
  • Manage the Partnerships Committee and Partnerships Advisory Group
  • Monitor and provide oversight of the IES portfolio
  • Support the directorate in monitoring and reporting on key programmes, projects, relationships, and their associated risks, milestones, and deliverables
What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of governance and reporting principles, as well as excellent leadership and management skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will be offered an indefinite contract and will be required to work 35 hours per week.
