About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse to join our team as a Chemotherapy Sister at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the nursing service across the chemotherapy unit, ensuring a unified approach to care and consistent standards of care.
  • Develop and maintain a professional portfolio, showcasing your skills and expertise in cancer care.
  • Work collaboratively with all care groups to develop a service for the care and management of patients with cancer.
  • Manage empathetically emotional issues relating to stages in the patient's journey.
  • Supervise and support the training of both qualified and unqualified members of staff.
