About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistive Technology Trainer/DSA Assessor. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals with disabilities, providing tailored support and guidance to help them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct structured meetings with students to identify suitable study and support strategies, including the use of Non-Medical Helpers (NMH) and travel support.
  • Evaluate and recommend assistive technology and other aids to support students with disabilities.
  • Prepare and produce high-quality study needs assessment reports for students in Higher Education.
  • Deliver training and support to students on the effective use of assistive technology.
Requirements
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Disability Support Allowance (DSA) funding guidance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
