About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Making Space. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in leading our team of support workers in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to a team of support workers to ensure the delivery of values-based support to individuals with mental health conditions.
  • Provide hands-on care and support to individuals, including administering medication and assisting with daily living tasks.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and support.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of supervising staff in a care setting.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health conditions.
