Marketing Coordinator (Lead Generation)

Business Area: Sales & Marketing Division

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Direct Reports: None

Relationships: Sales Manager (domestic), Business Development Manager (commercial), Head of Customer Experience, Data Analytics & Systems Manager and Finance Manager.

Overall Function/ Objective:

The primary focus of this role is on Lead Generation through various channels including email and nurturing strategies.

Engagement in digital marketing initiatives such as PPC and banner advertising.

Enhancement of website performance through SEO and optimized landing pages.

Conducting thorough reporting and analysis of marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Annual Marketing Strategy – Execute the Lead Generation components of the marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.

Lead Generation Optimization – Collaborate with the PPC agency to enhance the effectiveness of PPC campaigns and retargeting efforts. Ensure that online leads are seamlessly integrated into the CRM system.

Website Management – Create and manage landing pages for marketing campaigns, ensuring the website is optimized for calls to action, user funnels, and tracking mechanisms to facilitate lead follow-up.

SEO Collaboration – Work in conjunction with the SEO agency to ensure optimal website performance, both on-page and technically, to achieve first-page search rankings. Collaborate with the Content Marketing Executive for relevant content development.

Digital Advertising Management – Oversee paid external marketing efforts including PPC, banner ads, and social media advertising.

Campaign Coordination – Partner with the marketing team to effectively manage lead generation aspects of campaigns from inception to successful execution.

Collaboration – Engage closely with the appointments and sales teams to ensure that potential opportunities are pursued effectively.

Lead Nurturing – Transform cold leads into warm marketing leads through nurturing activities such as email outreach and outbound calls. Manage lists for email campaigns and other lead-generation methods.

Budget Oversight – Monitor all expenditures and assess return on investment.

Reporting & Analysis – Evaluate data and produce reports for stakeholders, clearly illustrating performance metrics, progress, and alignment with the marketing strategy.

KPI's/Outputs:

Demonstrate return on investment for PPC and SEO through optimization efforts aimed at maximizing lead volumes.

Achieve Cost Per Qualified Lead targets.

Ensure website SEO is optimized for technical performance, content quality, and lead generation goals.

Qualifications/Skills:

Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.

Familiarity with Google AdWords and SEO tools such as Semrush. Experience in managing PPC and SEO agencies.

Additional Information:

This position offers hybrid working options, with potential for remote work one day a week, subject to managerial approval. Occasional travel may be necessary for events.

Person Specification

Essential:

3-5 years of experience in marketing, either from a client or agency perspective.

Experience in managing external agencies and controlling budgets.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.

Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate across departments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferable:

Knowledge of renewable energy, agency management, and budget oversight, along with proven experience in marketing planning and execution.

Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

Marketing-related degree or pursuing a professional qualification.
