Senior Project Leader

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely and quality delivery of a large-scale, technically intricate project or several medium-sized projects.
  • Establish and uphold the overall project standards, ensuring uniformity across all initiatives in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and enhance the operational and project management teams to strengthen management capabilities and fulfill all project requirements.
  • Oversee Project Managers responsible for the operational execution of the project.
  • Provide strategic updates to upper management.
  • Manage strategic relationships with clients.
  • Contribute to strategic work-winning efforts.
  • Address and resolve operational and certain strategic challenges.
  • Assist the Business Unit Managing Director in formulating strategic plans for the upcoming years.
  • Adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures while recommending enhancements as necessary. Exemplify the core values of Safety, Leadership, Integrity, and Respect in all actions.
  • Actively promote and integrate Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) principles in all aspects of your work and comply with all organizational initiatives regarding EDI.

Candidate Profile

  • Professionally qualified in construction, with membership in a recognized professional body.
  • Proven experience in leading construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects/contracts of a similar scope.
  • Able to cultivate positive working relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Motivated by a commitment to excellence.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach teams on performance.
