The Senior Product Project Leader is tasked with spearheading the implementation of new offerings or significant enhancements to key product lines within our organization.

In this capacity, the Senior Product Project Leader serves as the primary accountable owner, facilitating communication between Product Management, Operations, Technology, clients, and external partners. This role is pivotal in driving project execution and ensuring transparency, while aligning solutions with overarching business strategies and technological frameworks. With extensive industry knowledge and a strong internal network, the Senior Product Project Leader is well-equipped to achieve successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing capital-funded change initiatives and complex projects across various teams
  • Acting as the accountable owner and championing the initiative
  • Collaborating with senior management and stakeholders to develop business cases, document project objectives, and justify expenditures. Ensuring product oversight based on business requirements and effectively communicating specifications to technology partners
  • Managing all necessary documentation for compliance with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including overseeing project plans, Jira Boards, and budget allocations.
  • Reporting on project status, progress, and financials to team members and stakeholders
  • Providing leadership and direction for the project. Making informed decisions. Striving for results. Exploring innovative approaches to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Managing product development to enhance scalability and reusability, creating a playbook to support excellence in execution

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in the technology or financial services sector
  • Proven track record in project management, business operations, and/or information technology
  • Strong understanding of products or business areas related to client solutions
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale strategic initiatives that are complex in nature and span multiple business lines
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and the SDLC process
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey business requirements and specifications
  • Strong negotiation capabilities
  • Relevant university degree, PMP certification, or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with Future State Technology Architecture is a plus
