About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Management Systems Engineer to join our team at Project People. As a key member of our Health, Safety, and Quality team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and ongoing management of an integrated health, safety, and quality management system aligned to ISO45001:2018 and ISO9001:2015 requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management System Implementation and Maintenance: Develop and maintain an integrated health, safety, and quality management system that meets the requirements of ISO45001:2018 and ISO9001:2015.
  • Health, Safety, and Quality Standards and Processes: Lead the creation and delivery of Health, Safety, and Quality standards, processes, and supporting documentation that align to the MBNL Assurance Model and Standard.
  • Internal Auditing and Assurance: Establish an effective risk-based internal audit and assurance program, ensuring suitably competent auditors are in place across the organization.
  • Supplier Audit Program: Support the implementation of an effective supplier audit program.
  • Non-Conformance Process: Develop and maintain a non-conformance process to ensure issues identified are managed and tracked to verifiable closure.
  • Management Review: Develop and maintain a 'Management Review' activity to provide reporting and feedback to MBNL and Shareholder leadership regarding the effectiveness and operation of the management system.
  • Quality Maturity Model Implementation: Set out a Quality Maturity Model implementation plan with a view to implementation and management.
  • Quality Reporting: Ensure a process is in place for consistent quality reporting established throughout MBNL and its contractors in accordance with those metrics and KPIs required by MBNL.
  • External Certification: Act as the primary point of contact with external bodies with responsibility for management system certification.
Requirements
  • Extensive Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems.
  • Experience: Experience of developing and maintaining quality, health, safety, and environmental systems.
  • ISO Standards: Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, and 19011.
  • Lead Auditor: Trained and experienced Lead Auditor.
  • Sub-Contractor Operations: Understanding of the control of sub-contractor operations.
  • Values and Commitments: Addresses behaviors that conflict with our values and health, safety, and wellbeing safety commitments.
Nice to Have
  • Telecoms Experience: Telecoms experience.
  • HSEQ Qualifications: HSEQ higher-level qualifications, e.g., NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • Other Management System Standards: Knowledge of other management system standards, e.g., ISO27001, ISO55001, ISO22301.
