Key Responsibilities- Product Quality Assurance: Ensure products are designed and manufactured in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Customer and Supplier Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers during product lifecycle management project phases.
- Quality Management: Responsible for manufacturing and supplier quality during project phases, including delivery, quality, regulations, and customer satisfaction.
- Project Leadership: Lead work packages and be an active member of integrated project teams, supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
- Quality Process Improvement: Develop and maintain systems to measure and drive performance, and drive, improve, and monitor Mercury Systems International program gates.
- Supplier Management: Responsible for suppliers' qualification, audits, and support for entry in-service readiness.
- Quality Audits: Carry out suppliers' audits and manage action plans, and participate in and support customers or authorities' audits.
- Process Improvement: Use, train, and improve preventative tools such as Lean and 6-Sigma toolbox, FMEA's, etc.
- APQP Process: Ensure the application of the APQP process in the project phase when applicable.
- New Process Qualification: Lead new process qualification during project phases.
- Operations Monitoring: Monitor operations adherence to MSI processes, procedures, and report any deviations or findings with proposed corrective actions.
- Education: MS degree in Engineering or Quality, with a strong technical background (Mechanical and Electronics is a plus).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Aviation, Space, and Defense (ASD) industry, medical, or automotive.
- Skills: Quality auditor training, English spoken and written, Aerospace & Defense QMS Lead Auditor, LEAN, APQP, 6Sigma methodologies knowledge.
