About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Management Systems Engineer to join our team at Project People. As a key member of our Health, Safety, Quality and Environment team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and ongoing management of an integrated health, safety and quality management system aligned to ISO45001:2018 and ISO9001:2015 requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management System Implementation: Develop and implement an integrated health, safety and quality management system that meets the requirements of ISO45001:2018 and ISO9001:2015.
  • Internal Auditing: Lead the creation and delivery of Health, Safety and Quality standards, processes, and supporting documentation that align to the MBNL Assurance Model and Standard.
  • Supplier Auditing: Support the implementation of an effective supplier audit program to ensure compliance with management system standards.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Develop and maintain a non-conformance process to ensure issues identified are managed and tracked to verifiable closure.
  • Quality Reporting: Establish a process for consistent quality reporting throughout the organization and its contractors.
  • External Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with external bodies responsible for management system certification.
Requirements
  • Extensive Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems, including ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001.
  • Lead Auditor: Trained and experienced Lead Auditor with a strong understanding of management system standards.
  • Telecoms Experience: Experience in the telecoms industry, with a strong understanding of the control of sub-contractor operations.
  • Higher Level Qualifications: Higher level qualifications in HSEQ, such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
Nice to Have
  • Telecoms Experience: Experience in the telecoms industry.
  • HSEQ Qualifications: Higher level qualifications in HSEQ, such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • Knowledge of Other Standards: Knowledge of other management system standards, such as ISO27001, ISO55001, and ISO22301.
