Job Title: Head of Finance and Operations

Job Summary:

Investigo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance and Operations to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the global finance strategy and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive finance strategy to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business partnering and commercial strategy development.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Manage the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and US accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the CEO and Founder in making strategic decisions and driving business growth.
  • Collaborate with functional heads to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investors and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and transparency.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong background in finance and operations.
  • Proven experience working in a start-up environment, preferably in the retail sector.
  • Excellent business partnering and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive business growth.
  • Ambitious, driven, and professional with a passion for finance and operations.
