We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance and Operations to join our team at Investigo. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the global finance strategy and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Global Finance Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive finance strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Provide Financial Insights: Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage Financial Operations: Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  • Group Consolidation: Consolidate financial data from multiple entities, including UK and US accounts.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with UK and US accounting standards.
  • Investment Opportunities: Support the evaluation and implementation of investment opportunities.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with functional heads to provide financial insights and support business growth.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Start-up Experience: Proven experience working in a start-up environment, ideally in the retail industry.
  • System Improvement: Experience improving and implementing financial systems.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business partnering skills, able to present to investors and the CEO.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both commercially and strategically.
