About the Company
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is a leading recruitment agency that specializes in placing top talent in various industries. Our client, a well-established distribution business based in Manchester City Centre, is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts, including the preparation of the profit and loss statement and balance sheet. They will also be involved in projects across different departments and will have the opportunity to work with senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the monthly management accounts, including the profit and loss statement and balance sheet
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Support the team on the year-end audit
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant
- Experience working as part of a busy finance function
- Exposure to producing end-to-end management accounts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
