Job Title: Facilities Management Officer

Peace Recruitment Group Ltd is working with one of Scotland's largest Social Care charities to grow their established estates team based out of their Edinburgh office.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Management Officer to oversee facilities and maintenance operations across multiple sites in Scotland. The successful candidate will assist in implementing preventative maintenance programs, managing building alterations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in delivering maintenance programs and inspections
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Manage refurbishments and project budgets
  • Provide technical advice on repairs and improvements
  • Conduct building surveys and prepare reports
Requirements:
  • HND/HNC in Building Surveying or equivalent technical qualification
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, CDM, and building standards
  • Experience in building contract, and contract administration and project control with multi-disciplinary teams
  • CAD skills desirable or working knowledge of CAD required
  • Full driving license
