We are seeking a skilled Facilities Co-ordinator to oversee the day-to-day management of our Edinburgh office facilities. This role will involve a range of responsibilities, from managing building maintenance and repairs to ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all team members.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and be able to ensure compliance in the workplace. They will also be responsible for coordinating with external contractors and suppliers, managing office space allocation and layout, and overseeing the procurement of office supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage building maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe and comfortable working environment.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain accurate records.
  • Oversee office space allocation and layout to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage the procurement of office supplies and equipment to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Coordinate with the IT department to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist with event planning and implementation to ensure smooth execution.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of facilities management policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate will require:

  • A qualification in facilities management or a related field or relevant experience.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
