Job Title: Executive Chef

Job Type: Full Time - 40 hours per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Mytime Active. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and mentor our culinary staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of food safety and quality, adhering to our company's quality management system.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies cost-effectively, and maintaining accurate records to minimize waste and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate our culinary team to achieve exceptional results, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained in food handling and preparation, personal hygiene, and equipment usage, adhering to our company's health and safety policy.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all kitchen equipment is used appropriately and maintained to the highest standards, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance kitchen operations, menu offerings, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a senior chef in a similar working environment, with a proven track record of menu development, team leadership, and kitchen management.
  • Culinary Qualifications: A Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate and other relevant culinary qualifications.
  • Commercial Awareness: A sound understanding of commercial kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve exceptional results.
