Executive Chef

The Chef Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing menus that showcase traditional Spanish tapas with a focus on in-house preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage kitchen operations, including food production, stock management, and wastage control
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and legislation related to food safety and hygiene
  • Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional service standards
  • Monitor kitchen budget and GP, making adjustments as needed to optimize profitability

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Kitchen Manager in a similar environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Spanish tapas cuisine and ability to create innovative dishes
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of quality in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work up to 50 hours a week over 5 days, including weekends
