About the Role:

Care UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in providing exceptional culinary services to our residents. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for managing the smooth operation of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs and preferences of our residents
  • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal levels and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with our nutrition team to develop and implement nutritionally balanced menus
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
