Currently, we have an opportunity available in a well-established facility that offers 43 beds for residential and memory support care. Our welcoming environment ensures comfort for residents, including those living with dementia who require specialized assistance. We are focused on delivering high-quality care while fostering a supportive atmosphere for both residents and staff.
Your Role:
As an Administration Officer, your responsibilities will include managing reception duties, organizing files, entering data, maintaining records, and performing various general administrative tasks, all while contributing to a warm and respectful environment. You will engage with staff, residents, their families, and visitors, greeting them warmly and providing necessary assistance. A friendly, patient, and adaptable demeanor is essential, along with the ability to manage interruptions gracefully while maintaining a professional and accommodating approach.
The successful candidate will be offered a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for incoming calls and visitors.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, and process purchase orders.
- Act as a liaison for resident inquiries, directing them to the Manager/Supervisor as needed.
- Execute general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, word processing, minute-taking, and photocopying.
- Input and maintain records to ensure compliance with internal and external reporting standards.
- Uphold health, safety, and quality standards.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in the aged care sector is highly desirable.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong time management skills and an understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Professional and confident communication abilities.
- Reliable and punctual.
