Job Summary

The Merchandising Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the Merchandising team at Liberty to ensure that correct stock is in the right place to maximize sales and profit. This role will provide administrative support to the Buying and Merchandising team, including managing reports and analyzing sales and stock figures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Merchandisers in the management of the continuity business, placing orders in line with stock and sales plans.
  • Work with key internal and external business stakeholders, including concessions, to ensure seamless inventory management.
  • Run daily and weekly trade reports for Buying and Merchandising to inform business decisions.
  • Conduct detailed ad-hoc analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Provide end-of-season sell-through analysis, compiling reports for the Buying team to inform new season buys.
  • Support the Merchandisers with analysis and charts for presentations and pillar projects.
  • Action price changes in line with margin plans to optimize sales and profit.
  • Monitor and review product replenishment levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Review best and worst sellers to identify opportunities for growth and minimize risk.
  • Use ROS analysis to efficiently forecast forward covers and future customer demand.
  • Work with the Retail team, Stock Controllers, and suppliers to action and meet RTV deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the online team to ensure stock optimization through efficient trading on the website.
  • Support the Retail team with stock enquiries and expected intake dates.
  • Attend floor walks and liaise with Buying, Retail, and Visual Merchandising to ensure stock is in the right place.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new business tools to improve inventory management.
  • Demonstrate a commercial mindset and outlook to stay responsive to customer and business needs.
  • Deliver a centre of excellence for merchandise reporting, processes, and system use.
