Job Overview

GSL Education is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Residential Support Worker to join our team at one of our client schools in Worksop.

Job Summary: A Residential Support Worker plays a crucial role in supporting individuals who live in residential care settings. These individuals may include those with disabilities, mental health issues, or those recovering from substance abuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to our students.
  • Assist with daily activities and routines.
  • Foster a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members.

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • An updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
