About the Role:

We are seeking a number of Relief Care Workers to join our team at Nottinghamshire County Council. As a Relief Care Worker, you will provide care and support to individuals staying in our services, assisting with personal care, supporting daily life activities, and engaging in activities that are important to the individuals you are working with.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care and support to individuals with varying degrees of learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Assist with personal care, daily life activities, and engage in activities that are important to the individuals you are working with
  • Work flexibly across various shift patterns, including 24/7 coverage
  • Attend mandatory induction training to develop your skills and knowledge

What We Offer:

  • Flexibility in working hours, with the option to work as many or as few shifts as you choose

Working Conditions:

  • Shifts are 6.45am to 2.45pm, 2pm to 10pm, and 10pm to 7am
  • Weekend work is paid at time and a half, bank holidays are double time, and evenings are paid at time and a third after 8pm

Requirements:

  • The right values, behavior, and attitude towards working with people who have a learning disability
  • No prior experience is necessary, as you will attend mandatory induction training
