Job Summary:

Proximity Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Brand Marketing Manager to join a dynamic and ambitious global brand in the retail industry.

About the Role:

  • Support the Head of Marketing in the implementation of the marketing strategy and national retail calendar, ensuring alignment with key trading dates and local initiatives that support the strategic marketing goals.
  • Manage the PR programme through a reputable PR agency, maintaining strong relationships and delivering effective communications.
  • Oversee the national paid advertising programme through a leading media agency, optimizing campaigns for maximum ROI.
  • Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities, providing data-driven insights to inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate with local and regional teams to support tactical marketing initiatives, driving customer attraction, engagement, and retention.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with key suppliers, including creative agencies, print and stock management, PR, media, merchandise, graphic designers, and AV, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality output.
  • Identify and champion opportunities to enhance the customer experience across the entire customer journey.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain marketing assets, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
  • Oversee the national media programme and organic social channels, creating engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Manage the national charity partnership programme, fostering strong relationships and delivering impactful initiatives.
  • Design and execute multi-channel, integrated marketing campaigns, supporting the marketing team to deliver across channels for all customer groups.
  • Lead a team of 4, including a Social Media Manager, Marketing Assistant, and Executives, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.
