About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our Central People Services team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. As an Onboarding Contracts Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth onboarding of new employees and the administration of employee life cycles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue new contracts, employee offer letters, and other essential documents to new hires.
  • Conduct thorough compliance checks on all Right to Work and onboarding documents to ensure legal compliance.
  • Run various reports and support different projects across the business to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR queries, policies, procedures, and systems to both managers and colleagues.
  • Update and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date colleague data.
  • Respond to requests and carry out transactions to deliver the full employee life cycle, including onboarding new starters, sending out contracts, and supporting the leaver process.
  • Act as a member of the colleague helpdesk team, taking calls and resolving people, process, and system-type queries.
  • Respond to queries regarding employee benefits and ensure benefits are set up correctly, working with payroll and third-party providers.
  • Work with the payroll and systems and solutions team to resolve colleague queries that require support from the rest of the team.
  • Manage and prioritize personal workload to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide efficient and accurate administration of Employee Life Cycle activities for current colleagues and leavers.
  • Carry out Right to Work checks to ensure legal compliance.
  • Responsible for the full end-to-end referencing process.
  • Rapidly escalate transactions and issues that require further input or resolution.
  • Identify areas where processes can be streamlined or improved.
  • Update processes, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures as required.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant information and data is maintained.
  • Resolve problems or shortfalls in service delivery quickly.
  • Provide generalist HR administration support as required.
Requirements
  • Previous HR experience is essential.
  • Experience of working at a similar level within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent IT skills and comfortable working with multiple systems.
  • Sound data interrogation skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Great attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in tasks undertaken.
  • Able to liaise effectively with peers to organize and share work priorities.
  • A common sense and pragmatic approach.
  • Desire to provide colleagues with a great customer experience.
  • A great team worker who will perform in line with our values.
  • Ability to follow process, procedure, but be able to make decisions to resolve issues while staying within legislation.
  • Flexible and able to react to business demands.
  • Previous experience of HRIS preferred.
  • Customer Service Skills preferred.
