Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic and Logistics Planner to join our team at OCS Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all traffic, logistics, and parking operations for the NEC Campus, including resource management and daily operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement daily traffic plans for the campus, including costing documents.
  • Monitor and maintain various systems used by the traffic and logistics department, including Voyage control, Traffic Database, Speed check database, Genetec, and Timegate.
  • Identify and collate training requirements and records for the department.
  • Collate financial documents in support of events traffic and carpark revenue.
  • Communicate with events staff on necessary departmental information, including event information and training.
  • Evaluate current processes and procedures, and develop new strategies and ideas to work more effectively within the business.
  • Manage the team on site when the campus is at over 50% capacity and the manager is not available.
  • Support the manager to ensure the casual workforce is managed effectively, including identifying recruitment, liaising with the scheduling department, and HR.
  • Manage and develop the traffic office coordinators.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification or higher.
  • IOSH qualification.
  • NeBOSH qualification (desirable).
  • Experience of working in a traffic function, financial administration, and an event environment.
  • Professional, adaptable, self-starter, enthusiastic, problem solver, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
