Job Title: Traffic Management Operative

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Traffic Management Operative to join our team at Hireway TM. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of traffic flow on our sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive briefing from the Lead Operative prior to the commencement of each contract
  • Develop a clear understanding of the hazards involved with and safe method to be employed for each contract prior to leaving the yard
  • Organise and control the safe loading and securing of all equipment onto TMIVs in accordance with appropriate regulations prior to transporting to or from site
  • Ensure all procedures are completed in accordance with Company Policy, including vehicle defect sheets, installation checklists, etc.
  • Effectively liaise with clients on site to promote a positive company image in all circumstances
  • Install, maintain, and remove all TM required as per briefing given by Lead Operative/Contracts Department/Clients
  • Implement any changes to pre-planned activities, record, and communicate to the operations department at the earliest opportunity when required
  • Ensure all paperwork is up to date, signed by the relevant people, and returned to the contracts department upon completion of the contract
Requirements:
  • MUST be drug and alcohol-free
  • Lantra accreditation (M1/M2 or 12AB minimum)
  • UK driving license required (must have been driving for 2 years)
