An exceptional opportunity has emerged for dedicated, passionate, and highly skilled Healthcare Assistants to become integral members of our teams within the Elderly Care departments.
Healthcare Assistants play a vital role in our organization, collaborating closely with Registered Nurses to deliver outstanding care to our patients.

Important Note: Proven experience in care and/or a Care Certificate (or equivalent) is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
You will address both the direct and indirect care needs of patients under the guidance and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Additionally, you will fulfill the Trust's requirements regarding induction, mandatory, and statutory training.
Maintaining high standards of patient care in accordance with Trust policies and guidelines will be a priority.
You will function as an effective member of the nursing and broader multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
It is essential to operate within the defined scope of the Healthcare Assistant role and to refer to the Registered Nurse as necessary.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Care Certificate obtained
- Evidence of completed competencies as part of a professional portfolio
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

- Evidence of functional skills or willingness to undertake

- Experience within an acute care environment
Knowledge

- Understanding of the role of caregivers in assisting patients with basic human needs
