About the Role

Nuffield Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Ipswich Hospital. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Put patient care first and prioritize their needs
  • Carry out administrative duties, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and their families, providing emotional support and reassurance
  • Meet the needs of every individual, respecting their dignity and autonomy
  • Use your organizational skills to make a positive impact on the ward and contribute to a safe and efficient working environment

Requirements

  • Good telephone manner and excellent communication skills
  • Great computer and database skills, with experience in using electronic patient records
  • Qualifications in healthcare or a related field, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3, are desirable
