Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Assistant to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mailroom Management: Handle incoming deliveries, sort and distribute mail, and maintain a secure and organized mailroom environment.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, fixture installation, and equipment maintenance to ensure the building remains in good working order.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance, including photocopying, filing, and data entry, to support the day-to-day operations of the facility.
  • Building Services: Ensure the building remains clean and sanitized, and that all necessary safety equipment is installed and functioning properly.
  • Emergency Procedures: Develop and implement emergency procedures, including fire evacuation plans and first aid protocols, to ensure the safety of all occupants.
Requirements:
  • Proactive and Intuitive: Demonstrate a proactive and intuitive approach to facilities management, with a focus on anticipating and resolving issues before they become major problems.
  • Facilities Experience: Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a facilities management role, with a strong understanding of building operations and maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Be proficient in basic handyman duties, including minor repairs and maintenance, and possess a strong understanding of IT systems and software.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
