About the Role:

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Forensic Psychiatry to join our team. As a key member of our forensic mental health service, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and overseeing the mental health of patients in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care and support to patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment programs to address the complex needs of patients in forensic settings.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and other stakeholders on forensic mental health issues.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to forensic mental health care.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in forensic psychiatry or a related field.
  • Extensive experience working in forensic mental health settings.
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
