About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our team at On Target Recruitment. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient and effective support to the sales team, acting as a communication link between the sales team and the hire desk.
  • Handle telephone enquiries and routine correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.
  • Research sales leads and projects as requested by Technical Sales Representatives and Management Team, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Transfer relevant leads to projects and set actions for Technical Sales Representatives to follow up, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Support the Hire desk team with their tasks, fostering a collaborative work environment and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Learn and understand the hire desk functions, which encompass both sales and operational aspects, and provide expert support to the team.
  • Participate in training programs to develop knowledge of products, applications, invoice systems, and CRM software, ensuring a high level of proficiency and expertise.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar fast-paced sales support role, preferably with a sales/hire function.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Proactive and keen to learn, with a strong desire to develop skills and knowledge in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
  • Good IT skills, with proficiency in CRM software and other relevant systems.
  • A full driving license, enabling you to commute to and from work.
