About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Assistant at Lidl in Deutschland. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Efficiently manage stock levels, restock shelves, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and engaging shopping environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to lift and move stock, and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
