About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our client's support package to support them in their own home. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our client, enabling them to maintain their independence and live a fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care and support to our client, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication administration, and mobility support.
  • Assisting our client with community activities, such as shopping, social events, and appointments.
  • Supporting our client's mental health and well-being, including providing emotional support and engaging in activities that promote relaxation and stress relief.
  • Maintaining accurate records of our client's care and support, including medication administration and any changes to their care plan.
  • Working collaboratively with our client's healthcare team to ensure that their care and support needs are met.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a care or support role, preferably with a focus on personal care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our client and their family.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
  • Knowledge of care and support principles, including person-centered care and the importance of promoting independence.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
