About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our client's support package in their own home. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring our client's safety, well-being, and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to our client, including assistance with daily living tasks and medication administration.
  • Accompany our client to appointments and social events, promoting their social interaction and community engagement.
  • Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Support our client's mental health and well-being, providing emotional support and encouragement.
  • Work collaboratively with our client's healthcare team to ensure their needs are met and their care plan is implemented.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a care setting, preferably with a focus on personal care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our client and their family.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the changing needs of our client.
  • Basic knowledge of medication administration and personal care procedures.
  • DBS clearance and a valid UK driving license (if applicable).
