About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication administration, and mobility.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as mental health support, learning disabilities, and personal care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring that clients' needs are met and their goals are achieved.
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure required.
  • Full, valid UK driving license and own vehicle.
  • Commitment to long-term care for one client in a person-centered way.
  • Willingness to be trained to CQC standards to meet client needs.
  • Respect for company policies and procedures.
  • Reliability, non-judgmental attitude, caring nature, responsibility, and compassion.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and treating clients with dignity and respect.
