Air Import Team Leader

Job Summary:
The Air Import Team Leader will oversee the smooth operation of the Import Gateway, ensuring efficient movement of cargo and compliance with international and domestic cargo regulations and standards. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate others, and a talent for managing difficult situations and working effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee and manage the cargo operations to ensure smooth functioning of Gateway ops, coordinating with cargo handling agents, transport providers, and customs.
- Cargo Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with international and domestic cargo regulations and standards, overseeing cargo security and ensuring safe handling of goods.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead the cargo operations team, planning and scheduling cargo shipments, tracking delays, and addressing any issues.
- Performance Management: Assess and review the performance of the cargo operations and implement improvements, managing budgets and financial reports.
- Contingency Planning: Develop contingency plans to handle cargo operations during emergencies or disruptions.
Requirements:
