We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at First Choice Staff as an Air Import Clerk. This exciting opportunity is part of our established forwarder in the Air Import department.

Candidates with experience in start-to-finish airfreight imports are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be responsible for and will need to have already gained experience with the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customs Clearance of airfreight shipments using CDS (Our operating system is Sequoia)
  • Coordinating with handling agents at airports to obtain release of cargo
  • Arranging collections from airports and deliveries to clients nationwide
  • Quoting clients and overseas agents
  • Administration including raising invoices, and passing suppliers invoices for payment
  • Providing strong understanding of quality customer service, as this is what our business is built on

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in airfreight imports
  • Monday to Friday working hours
  • Salary: £35k - £45k
