Leadership Opportunity in Emergency Medicine

Devdort is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our Emergency Medicine department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and oversight, developing strategic plans to enhance emergency care services, and supervising and mentoring medical staff to ensure quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight within the emergency department
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance emergency care services
  • Supervise and mentor medical staff to ensure quality patient care
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize patient flow and care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance
  • Provide guidance and expertise on emergency medicine protocols and procedures
  • Conduct regular reviews of departmental performance and outcomes
  • Coordinate with hospital administration for resource allocation and budget management
  • Participate in community outreach and education programs
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation and safety standards
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine
  • Current valid medical license and DEA registration
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentation
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
