About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our Emergency Medicine department at Devdort. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and oversight within the emergency department, developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance emergency care services, and supervising and mentoring medical staff to ensure quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide guidance and expertise on emergency medicine protocols and procedures, conduct regular reviews of departmental performance and outcomes, and ensure compliance with accreditation and safety standards.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance emergency care services, including optimizing patient flow and care coordination, and participating in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.
  • Staff Supervision and Mentorship: Supervise and mentor medical staff to ensure quality patient care, and provide guidance and expertise on emergency medicine protocols and procedures.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments to optimize patient flow and care coordination, and participate in community outreach and education programs.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine
  • Current valid medical license and DEA registration
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentation
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
