Job Summary:

We are a well-established medical practice in NHS Scotland seeking a Salaried General Practitioner to join our team. As a Salaried GP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our practice's services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries.
  • Conduct health assessments, diagnose and manage chronic conditions, and provide health education to patients.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, pharmacists, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in practice meetings and contribute to the development of practice policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the training and education of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Eligible to register with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Experience in general practice or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
