This is a fixed-term position until further notice.
The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday.
We are seeking a full-time Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Renfrewshire to cover a forthcoming maternity leave. The post will be for a 9-month period. Our team is a supportive group of 14 registered and non-registered practitioners based in the Aranthrue Centre in Renfrewshire. If you are interested in developing your skills with a broad, general paediatric caseload, we encourage you to discuss this opportunity with us.
- We deliver our service in clinics, schools, and other community settings, and are committed to developing Inclusive Communication Environments in Renfrewshire for all children and young people. You will have access to team lead support as well as clinical support from a range of specialist practitioners.
- We have experience of supporting Band 5 clinicians through Flying Start and RCSLT competencies and can offer a wide paediatric experience for new graduates or practitioners seeking to develop skills in this area.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a recognized Speech and Language Therapy degree and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

NHS Scotland is reducing its full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff. This change will be implemented across the organization, and you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you will be paid.
