Care and Support Worker Relief Nights

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Cambridgeshire County Council. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling adults with disabilities to live independently and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities- Provide practical support to adults with disabilities, including personal care, cleaning, and ensuring their safety during the night.
- Administer medication and update records as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Support Worker and other team members to provide a high-quality service.
- Respond to crisis situations and instances of challenging behavior, using your skills and knowledge to assess the situation and provide appropriate support.
- Proficient level of written and spoken English for case recording and working towards a qualification in Health and Social Care.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as IT skills for record-keeping and risk assessments.
- Awareness and understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion, the Mental Capacity Act, and the need for safety and confidentiality.
