About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care and Support Worker to join our team in Cambridgeshire. As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide practical support to adults with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide waking night cover to ensure service users' care and support needs are met during the hours of 10pm-8am.
  • Support with personal care, cleaning, and ensuring service user safety during the night.
  • Administer medication and update documents such as support plans and risk assessments.
  • Work towards a qualification in Health and Social Care if you do not already hold this qualification.
Requirements
  • Proficient level of written and spoken English for case recording and communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as IT skills for record-keeping and risk assessments.
  • Awareness and understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion, the Mental Capacity Act, and the need for safety and confidentiality.
